Massively cutting back my weekly running (from c.50km to c.15km) has had an impact on my weight and therefore my fitness age, which has leapt from 33 to 37 (I'll be 42 next month)

Definitely good to scale back, and 15km is still good though!

Yeah, and it's getting towards winter and I'm asthmatic, so I run on the treadmill to avoid the cold air getting to my lungs. Trouble is, it's often too hot in the gym! Can't win.
